FAQ’s About Hop Tickets for Dartmouth Students
How much are tickets, and how can I purchase them?
Student tickets are $10 for visiting artists and $5 for Hop ensembles and films. Visiting artists tickets and ensemble tickets can be purchased in person at the Box Office, by phone at 603.646.2422 from 10 am-6 pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 1-6 pm, and on the Hopkins Center website hop.dartmouth.edu. Individual film tickets go on sale 30 minutes before the start of the film at the Hop Box Office for Spaulding shows or at the Loew Box Office for shows in the Loew Theater. The exceptions for films are film specials, which can be purchased as early as the start of the term.
Is there a limit to the number of student tickets one student can purchase?
One student can purchase up to four tickets to a visiting artist or ensemble performance. Student ticket holders must show their Dartmouth IDs with their tickets at the theater.
What do I do if I lose my tickets?
If you lose your tickets to a visiting artist or ensemble performance, contact the Box Office to have your new tickets reissued.
What can I do if I can’t come to the performance I have purchased tickets for?
Unfortunately the Hopkins Center does not offer refunds. If for some reason you cannot attend a performance for which you have purchased tickets, feel free to give them to another student or contact the Box Office to provide another student with the opportunity to attend the performance. Student tickets can be used only by other students.
When do the doors open, and how early should I get to a performance or film?
Doors typically open a half hour before the performance time stated on your ticket. Anticipate arriving within that half-hour period. For most films, tickets go on sale 30 minutes before the start of the film.
